About the Designer
After a successful career in non-profit management and philanthropy, and with a background in graphic design and fine arts, Fran Levey now applies her considerable talent to website and book design. Her ability to juxtapose images, graphics, documents, and illustrations with the written word brings the text to life and maximizes a story's impact.
In cookbooks, the luscious photography can inspire even the most novice of cooks to try a recipe. In memoirs and tributes, the beauty of the story is dramatically enhanced by the visual images. Fran also has the ability to research and build family trees, develop maps that trace a family's journey, digitize and correct original family photos, and find meaningful historical documents.
Fran's skills bring added value to a memoir, history, or cookbook project. Her professionalism and expertise bring meaning and joy to many families and friends who want to create a lasting legacy for generations to come.
